What can you expect from Aaron Hoy?
I had been in the mortgage industry for over 9 years when I joined Golf in 2009. I have helped hundreds families achieve their goal of home ownership. It brings me great pleasure to meet with clients face to face and to discuss not just mortgages, but their over all financial future. My goal is to help my clients fully understand how their home mortgage can complement their long term financial goals.

As a veteran who served proudly in the US Navy, it is rewarding being able to provide fellow Vets with home financing through the VA benefits program. Most lenders are intimidated by the program, but in today’s market, the VA mortgage loan benefit is one of the most compelling programs out there. With my background and loan experience, I make sure that all Veterans consider the option of using their VA benefit!

Educating families about sound financial principals like debt management, budgeting and sound home ownership practices is a passion of mine and I teach courses related to this through my church.

On a personal side
I am the oldest of seven children. I grew up in the Midwest in suburbs of south of Dayton, OH and lived there until the age of nineteen. In 1993, I joined the U. S. Navy and held the position of Photographer's Mate. I served four and one-half years on active duty and traveled to international ports of call on four continents including Aquaba, Jordan; Bahrain; Bunbury, Australia; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Hong Kong; Kuwait City, Kuwait; Mazatlan, Mexico and Singapore. Stateside, I was stationed in Everett, WA Pensacola, FL, and San Diego, CA and traveled to Hawaii several times. Out of all these ports, I enjoyed the city of Everett the best and made it my home.

In 1999 I married my wife, Jeanette. We have three lovely children, Zachary, Makenna and Katelynn. We currently live in Lake Stevens, WA. I enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, photography, skeet shooting and spending time with my family. I am a board member at The Everett Gospel Mission and a member of the Snohomish Community Church. I am also involved with facilitating "Financial Peace University" classes at S.C.C. If you are interested in knowing more about this class please ask for details.
