Experience/Background
With more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Mary joined Golf
in 2009. With her extensive mortgage knowledge, she is able to diagnose, analyze
and present the right lending solutions for her clients. Mary was on the Dean’s
List at Warner Pacific College where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration.
Mary has been a local mortgage consultant for many mortgage articles. She was
featured in the Oregonian newspaper as a mortgage expert in the Ask the
Expert real estate column and was featured numerous times as the mortgage
lender in the First Time Journal Success Stories and referred to as the industry expert
on various mortgage lending topics.
Mary is a certified HUD Homebuyer
instructor and has been teaching classes since 1999. She is a member of the
Oregon Mortgage Lender’s Association. She received the Certificate of
Appreciation for her many years of hard work, dedication and contributions from
the Portland Housing Center.

Mary is dedicated and passionate about working with first-time homebuyers and low
to moderate income and minority clients. All of her clients’ can count on her years
of experience and expertise in mortgage lending to help them with their individual

On a personal side
Mary is a Portland, Oregon native. She is an active volunteer for the high school
Ski Racing League. Mary enjoys mountain biking, downhill skiing and hiking. She
also teaches various “restoration” classes at a local faith based organization.
